HANDYDOCK
HandyDock works as a conventional snap-hook, but with the big difference that it is possible to release even when it is loaded.

The principle is the same as that of the tow hook on a tugboat.

If the vessel they are towing sinks, they must be able to loosen wire quickly even though they are under load.
With HandyDock the mechanism is never under load which means that we can release it any time.

When using HandyDock the boat hook is the tool to manover it.

Slide the HandyDock in the seizure of the Triggerhook and you can reach what you want to dock in, for example, a buoy or a ponton. When one reaches the current goal just pull HandyDock. At the same time, pull off the boat hook from the HandyDock itself which then stays in the buoy f.e. Your docking is completed.

When you want to leave you pull out closer to the buoy (and if it’s windy, you can fix the rope when you’re at the right distance from it). Stretch the boat hook to HandyDock and insert the curved portion of the pole into the hole at the side of the hook. Then just pull and HandyDock opens.

APPLICATIONS

With HandyDock you can moore at rings on docks or at buoys, pontones, but also at pollars, cleats, poles, bars a.s.o. by use of the accessory sling.

By using HandyDock you don’t need to hang over the rail to reach and you will avoid a lot of unneccesary jumping between boat and dock. You can stay on board when docking and by unloading since you can release your HandyDock even if it is under load!
The risk of  fall over board is thereby reduced.

Both comfort and security will improve on board!

HOW TO DOCK WITH HANDYDOCK

Push the Handy Dock on to the boat hook bracket. Stretch out the boat hook with Handy Dock towards what you want to grab.

Pull the Handy Dock

And in the same motion, pull the boat hook from the Handy Dock and you are moored.

To release, insert the crooked part of the boat hook in the large hole next to the attachment hole of  the mooring line and pull.

HandyDock will release, even if it is heavily loaded.
