HANDYDOCK

HandyDock works as a conventional snap-hook, but with the big difference that it is possible to release even when it is loaded.
The principle is the same as that of the tow hook on a tugboat.
If the vessel they are towing sinks, they must be able to loosen wire quickly even though they are under load.
With HandyDock the mechanism is never under load which means that we can release it any time.
When using HandyDock the boat hook is the tool to manover it.
Slide the HandyDock in the seizure of the Triggerhook and you can reach what you want to dock in, for example, a buoy or a ponton. When one reaches the current goal just pull HandyDock. At the same time, pull off the boat hook from the HandyDock itself which then stays in the buoy f.e. Your docking is completed.
When you want to leave you pull out closer to the buoy (and if it’s windy, you can fix the rope when you’re at the right distance from it). Stretch the boat hook to HandyDock and insert the curved portion of the pole into the hole at the side of the hook. Then just pull and HandyDock opens.

ANVÄNDNINGSOMRÅDEN

With HandyDock you can moore at rings on docks or at buoys, pontones, but also at pollars, cleats, poles, bars a.s.o. by use of the accessory sling. By very stiff mooring always use shock absorbers(f.ex. Bungy).

By using HandyDock you don’t need to hang over the rail or lifeline to reach and you will avoid a lot of unneccesary jumping between boat and dock. You can stay on board by docking and by leaving as you can release your HandyDock even if it is under load!
The risk of squeesing or to fall over board is thereby hevely reduced.

Both comfort and security will improve on board!
